The Friends of the Center for the Visually Impaired luncheons are an open invitation to all current students, alumni and friends of our Center. Our luncheons have become so popular, we have many other non-profit organizations reserving tables for their staff and clients to come and join in the fun too.
Usually held every other month, the themed lunches have speakers, entertainment, prize drawings and sing-a-longs. Whether you come alone, or with a group of friends, our tables of eight ensure everybody has a fun time socializing with new and old friends alike.
Have you ever imagined what it is like to be blind? Imagine closing your eyes, then walking into your kitchen and sitting down for your meal - no peaking. Where is the salt and where did they put the butter?
Join us for a dinner event that is an adventure of touch, smell, taste and sound. This will be an evening you won’t forget.
