Friends of CVI Luncheons

Please join us for an afternoon program of fun & food, 50/50 raffle and prizes. The Friends of CVI is a support group comprised of alumni who gather every other month to network, learn more about visual impairment and the latest happenings at the Center for the Visually Impaired. Be sure to make your reservations with your transportation carrier several days before the Friends of CVI Luncheon. We hope to see you there!

Pattie Tedesco Jones, local visually impaired artist and CVI Board Member, presented her work at the Braille & Talking Book Library. Below is a photo of Pat displaying her artwork. Microsoft Office Introduction
Knowing these computer programs increases student employability immensely!
Additional lessons will be available on Blackboard Web-based Classroom.
Information on the Arts and Music Initiative

Jan. 26th – 9:30-4:30 – Workshop
Blackboard Training
Blackboard is an interactive online classroom.
We will be using Blackboard to enhance transition lessons.
Arts & Music Initiative Lesson: “What is Art? What is Music?”

Feb. 9th – Time TBA
Field Trip: IMAGE Arts Festival, New Smyrna Beach
Lunch provided. Free music.
Any other purchases are the responsibility of the student.
