Remember (CVI) Center for the Visually Impaired in Your Will:

Unfortunately, about half of all Americans die without making out a will. You can put your affairs in order for those you care about by contacting your attorney or trust officer who will discuss the many options available to you.

A General Legacy Statement:

I devise and bequeath to Center for the Visually Impaired, Inc., a nonprofit agency registered in the State of Florida, the sum of $ ______ (or otherwise describe the gift; often a percentage of the estate is designated) to be used in the furtherance of it's mission and general purposes.

Memorial or Tribute Donations:

Any gift to The Center for the Visually Impaired, Inc., can be designated as a tribute in honor of a person or special occasion. Gifts can be made in memory of a deceased loved one, as a way of showing love and respect while helping to continue CVI's mission at the same time. Should you have any questions contact CVI Development Team at 386-253-8879.

Real Estate Gift:

When you make a irrevocable gift of real property to The Center for the Visually Impaired, Inc., you may be eligible for a charitable income tax deduction equal to the full, fair market value of the property. You may also save on capital gains and, as well, receive a large charitable deduction.

Gifts Through Retirement Plans:

If you have accrued funds in a company pension plan or IRA beyond your needs for a secure retirement, please consider making a gift from your account to The Center for the Visually Impaired, Inc. As a benefit, such a gift may reduce estate taxes through the charitable deduction it provides.

Honoring Your Gift: Visionaries of CVI

The Visionaires is a membership society of philanthropists in the community who are committed to advance The Center for the Visually Impaired's time-honored and noble mission. When you make a cumulative annual gift of $1,000 or more, you become a member of the Visionaires of CVI and a bright resource for those who have lost their vision. Members are honored at special recognition events and in publications.

Using Your Investment Wisely

You can take pride in knowing your donation made a difference for the teens, adults and seniors enrolled in CVI's Programs located in: Volusia, Flagler, Putnam and Brevard counties. Thank you.
